In short, from 6 April, filing the usual GAR in and out of the UK will only be possible via online filing, known as sGAR, although some subscription services cover this as part of the flight plan package, e.g. SkyDemon – it is important to keep the receipt. The penalties for non-compliance are quite high (up to £10,000 per offence).
